Trinity House: Seafarer Support is a helpline run by the Merchant Navy Welfare Board for current and former seafarers (Merchant Navy, Royal Navy, Royal Marines and fishermen) and their families as well as people who work to improve the lives of seafarers and their families. Seafarer Support will guide former/current seafarers and their families to some of the services available. This might include advice, or finding financial support depending upon your circumstances.

Trinity House

Seafarers Hospital Society: We are working hard to support our seafarers during these difficult times and, as far as possible, it’s business as usual. We have extended free mental health and wellbeing advice and support to all working and retired seafarers and their families through online provider Togetherall (previously known as Big White Wall).

We are offering free access to Videotel’s new training package: Seafarers’ Mental Health and Wellbeing. Seafarers face unique working conditions which can put them under a lot of stress, with fewer opportunities for relief than they would be likely to find on land.

Our Seafarers’ Mental Health and Wellbeing package focuses on the positive thing’s seafarers can do to help themselves and their fellow crew members. It is suitable for individual viewing, and can also be used for training sessions onboard and ashore.
